Following the right check-in and check-out routine saves you time and heads off avoidable hassles. Here are the basics.
Before you arrive
Have your ID and booking details ready (booking code and the name the reservation is under). If you are arriving outside office hours, message the front desk in advance so a convenient check-in can be arranged.
At check-in: a two-minute once-over
Take two minutes to look over the room: furniture, electrical fittings, hot water, air conditioning and general cleanliness. If something is not right, say so straight away and it will be dealt with. Checking on arrival is always easier than raising a complaint on your way out.
During your stay
Keep the support number to hand. For anything from extra towels to changing your housekeeping slot or asking about the neighborhood, one message is enough.
